Helsinki · Hands-on · No code required

Walk in with an idea.
Leave with a website that's actually live.

A one-day workshop where non-technical people build a real website or small app — and put it on the internet before they go home.

Never written a line of code? That's exactly who this is for.

The promise

You don't leave with notes. You leave with a link.

Most “learn to build” classes end with a folder of files on your laptop. This one ends with something real people can open on their phone.

🌐

A real website, online

Your own pages, your own words and images — hosted at a live web address you can hand to anyone.

⚙️

Or a small working app

A booking form, a price calculator, a signup list — a tiny tool that does one useful thing for your work or idea.

🔗

A link that's yours to keep

You leave owning the project and the address. Change it, grow it, or hand it to a developer later — it's yours.

How a Saturday runs

Four steps, from blank page to live URL.

You describe what you want in plain English. Claude Code builds it with you. DollarDeploy puts it online. We're beside you the whole way.

STEP 01

Say what you want

Describe your idea in normal words — “a page for my dog-walking side gig.” No jargon, no diagrams.

STEP 02

Build it with Claude Code

Claude writes the site as you go. You steer it — change the colours, the words, the layout — just by asking.

STEP 03

Publish with DollarDeploy

One guided step puts your project on the real internet, with its own web address. No servers to understand.

STEP 04

Share your link

Text it to a friend right there in the room and watch it open on their phone. That's the moment.

Who comes to these

Made for people who were told they “aren't technical.”

If you can send an email and describe what you want, you can do this. Here's who usually sits in the room.

Small-business owners who keep paying someone else for a simple website.
Makers & side-hustlers with an idea that needs a page to exist.
Career-changers curious whether building things is for them.
Freelancers & creatives who want a portfolio they control.
Community & club organisers needing a signup or info page, fast.
The plain curious who keep hearing about AI and want to actually use it.

What you leave with

Everything on this list — by 4pm.

  • A live website or small app at your own web address
  • The know-how to change it yourself afterwards
  • Claude Code & DollarDeploy set up on your own laptop
  • A simple cheat-sheet of the exact steps we used

The two tools, in plain words

No, you don't need to know what any of this means yet.

We teach both from zero. But here's the honest, jargon-free version so nothing feels like a black box.

CC · Claude Code

The builder that speaks human

Claude Code is an AI you talk to in plain English. You tell it what you want your website to do and look like, and it writes the actual site for you — then changes it whenever you ask.

Think of it as a very fast, very patient developer sitting next to you, who never makes you feel silly for asking.

$ · DollarDeploy

The button that makes it live

Building something on your laptop is one thing; getting it onto the internet is usually the scary part. DollarDeploy is the shortcut — it takes your project and gives it a real web address in one guided step.

No servers, no hosting contracts, no acronyms. It's the part that turns “on my computer” into “on the internet.”

Honest answers

The questions everyone asks first.

Do I really need zero coding experience? +

Yes, really. The whole workshop is built around people who have never coded. You describe things in plain language; the AI handles the code. If you can write an email, you're ready.

What will my website actually cost to keep online? +

DollarDeploy is designed to keep hosting extremely cheap — often just a few euros a month, and free while you're learning. We'll show you exactly what your project costs before you commit to anything.

Do I own what I build? +

Completely. The project, the files, and the web address are yours. You can keep growing it, hand it to a developer, or move it elsewhere — you're never locked in.

What if I get stuck after the workshop? +

You leave with a cheat-sheet of the exact steps, and you get 30 days of follow-up help by email for questions as you keep building.

Can I come with just an idea, not a finished plan? +

Absolutely — most people do. Part of the day is turning a rough idea into something concrete. Bring a napkin sketch, a Pinterest board, or just a sentence.

Is this a sales pitch for the tools? +

No. It's a build day. You use Claude Code and DollarDeploy because they're the fastest way for a beginner to go from idea to live — and everything you learn transfers to whatever you build next.
